Q. What is the difference between a design and a revision?
A. Designs are ideas that begin as a blank screen, and end as a fully-finished company logo. A revision is a minor graphical alteration to the color, font, or layout of a design.

Q. Why do I need more than one design option?
A. The combinations of type, fonts, shapes, colors and images that make up a logo can create very different moods and feelings. Creating the right feeling for your business image can sometimes take a few attempts. The more design options that you're presented with, the greater chance you'll have of seeing a design that captures the very essence of your business.

Q. How long does the whole process take?
A. The design of a basic logo consisting of 3 designs and 3 revisions usually takes no longer than 7 days. However, in order to ensure that you receive our lightning-fast service, you will have to respond in a timely manner to our e-mails and phone calls. The quicker you view our designs and revisions and decide upon a design direction, the faster we can move forward with your design. If you choose to purchase the packages, our first round of concept deliveries will arrive after 8 business days. If you choose to purchase by the hour, your concepts may be delivered the same day or the following business day. The 7 day turnaround applies after we have all the photographs, copy, and supporting information that we need. We deliver through UPS Ground / USPS or DHL. The delivery time is approximately 3 days (excluding Saturday and Sunday). A full 7 day project - accounting for delivery-will most likely take 10 days.

Q. How will I see my design and revisions?
A. We will e-mail your designs and revisions directly to your email account. If you'd prefer to phone us, please call 1.310.220.0517. After we have finalized your project(s), we recommend that you make a hard copy of these files.

Q. What are your business hours?
A. We are open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST. We are closed on major holidays. You can access our voice message system 24/7 at 1.310.220.0517 and we will return your call during business hours. You can also email us at felipe@diazdesigns.com.

Q. What file formats will I receive?
A. We will provide you with the following file types: jpeg, tiff, psd, pdf.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. If you want to cancel the process before you receive your initial design ideas, we will be happy to refund your payment. There will, however, be a $45.00 administration fee. If we've already started work on your design, we will also charge you an additional fee for work already completed, based on a $100.00 hourly rate.

Q. Who retains the rights to the logo?
A. Once the final design is in your possession, the logo is your property. Diaz Designs has no legal claim to your image, but we do maintain a right to display your logo on our web site. Upon receipt of your logo, we strongly recommend that you take the necessary legal steps to protect your new image. This will deter other businesses from "borrowing" your logo style.

Q. Can you update my existing logo?
A. If you have an existing logo that you would like to change, then we will be happy to make graphical alterations. Simply send your existing design to felipe@diazdesigns.com, and title your email "tidy up my logo". Alterations to an existing logo will be based on a $100.00 per hourly rate (please send your logo in the following formats: jpeg, tiff, psd, pdp).

Q. What delivery system do you use?
A. Your prints will be delivered to you by UPS Ground. Delivery time is an estimated 1 business day (excluding Saturday and Sunday) depending on the shipping destination.

Q. Do I have to be in business, to purchase a logo from Diaz Designs?
A. We do not design exclusively for the business community. Some of the organizations that have benefited from an Diaz Designs make-over have included: charities, religious groups, school sports teams, and community projects. We are proud to supply great-looking designs to organizations that would normally be unable to afford professional design prices.
